ABOUT: John is a self taught photographer living in Haverhill NH. He has always loved the outdoors, and all the creatures that inhabit it. His passion is nature and wildlife photography. To him, there is absolutely nothing like spending time photographing new loon parents and their chicks on a quiet pond, or studying and photographing one of the many beautiful and rustic barns that dot the New England countryside. He strives to create images that tell a story, or depict a special moment in time. ARTIST STATEMENT: I hope my images enable you to share in my passion. Whether you are here looking for an image to purchase or license, or just stopping by to browse, I hope you find inspiration in what you discover. I invite you to connect...

Gosh, I don't know what I like best about this one - the wonderful blue and yellow palette or the simple subject and minimalist composition. It has the charm of primitive folk art. This is one of my two pod's in the Best of Minimalism in Photography group for April 10.

This is wonderful, John! Great catch. I love all of it, including the falling, blowing snow/sleet (?) Just beautiful. l/f and one of my PODs for April 10.
