ABOUT: John is a self taught photographer living in Haverhill NH. He has always loved the outdoors, and all the creatures that inhabit it. His passion is nature and wildlife photography. To him, there is absolutely nothing like spending time photographing new loon parents and their chicks on a quiet pond, or studying and photographing one of the many beautiful and rustic barns that dot the New England countryside. He strives to create images that tell a story, or depict a special moment in time. ARTIST STATEMENT: I hope my images enable you to share in my passion. Awesome picture of the farm. Even better in person. Just to correct the info you have on it, the farm is no longer a working dairy farm. Obviously, it was when you took this picture though. The area is very gorgeous. One last thing, the farm is actually located in East Ryegate, Vermont. It's one of the better pictures of our families farm. Thanks for taking it. :)
John Vose replied:
Hi Ann, Thanks so much for the update and correction to the info. It is a beautiful location. I'm sorry to hear it is no longer operating as a dairy farm. Vermont has lost too many of these iconic farms in the past few years......
